Minho Jo

Minho Jo is the Professor of Department of Computer and Information Science, Korea University at Sejong.

He is active and well-renowned in wireless communications and IoT (Internet of Things) in the world.

He is one of founding members of LCD Division and the Founding Captain of Information Technology Team (Part) of LCD Division, Samsung Electronics, S. Korea. He has launched several reputed international journals. He is the Founder, KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Systems (www.itiis.org indexed in SCI (ISI) and SCOPUS, respectively). He is the Founder of Smart Computing Review (www.smartcr.org indexed in DBLP, DBPIA, and Google Scholar, respectively).

He was awarded in Dec., 2011 with Headong Outstanding Scholar Prize with 20,000 US Dollars of prize. The prize is awarded to a scholar who has achieved outstanding research performance and contributions to electronics and computer engineering of S. Korea by Haedong Foundation and Institute of Electronics and Information Engineers (IEIE). He is the Vice President of Institute of Electronics and Information Engineers (IEIE), and Vice President of Korea Information Processing Society (KIPS), respectively.

He is the Co-General Chairman of IEEE ICC 2015 Workshop on Security Games for the IoT, London, UK.

The topic of his current interest includes cognitive radio, IoT (Internet of Things), mobile cloud computing, mobile computing in 5G, heterogeneous networks, optimization & probability in networks, wearable computing, medical informatics, network security, cooperative communications, energy-efficient (green) mobile computing, vehicular ad-hoc networks, wireless body area networks, MIMO and cellular networks in 5G, path findings and wireless communications in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs or Drone).
