She was Head of the Department of Department of Computer Science and Engineering at G H Raisoni College of Engineeing, Nagpur, India and Head of the Department of Information Technology at Vidyalankar Institute of Technology, Mumbai, India. Dr Arya is a topper from College of Engineering Pune. Her research interests are in Digital Image Processing and Data Science & Analytics. She has published papers in reputed Journals and conferences and has many book chapters to her credit. She is a senior IEEE member and fellow of IETE. She has 1 patent and 1 copyright to her credit.

Speech Title: Role of AI in the Industry 4.0

Abstract: For decades, we’ve heard the promise that computers are going to make work easier. It seems only now that the Fourth Industrial Revolution, or Industry 4.0, is starting to deliver on that promise through stark, disruptive technological transformation. Industry 4.0 is a name given to the current trend of automation and data exchange in manufacturing technologies. It includes cyber-physical systems, the Internet of things, cloud computing and cognitive computing. Industry 4.0 is commonly referred to as the fourth industrial revolution.
Industry 4.0 is the paving the path for digitization of the manufacturing sector, where artificial intelligence (AI) and machine-learning based systems are not only changing the ways we interact with information and computers but also revolutionizing it.
