International & Domestic Transportation
Visitors can travel to Macau by land, sea and air. You may take a direct or connecting flight to Macau International Airport or transfer to other city routes; in addition, a helicopter service flies directly from Hong Kong and Shenzhen to Macau. Many visitors travel to Macau by sea via Shun Tak Centre (Sheung Wan, Hong Kong), Hong Kong International Airport, China (HK) Ferry Terminal (Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong), Shekou (Shenzhen), and Fu Yong Ferry Terminal (ShenzhenAirport). Land crossings from Mainland China are made through the Border Gate on Macau Peninsula and the Lotus Bridge in Cotai.

Local Transportation
Bus and taxi services serve as the primary means of public transportation in Macau. As a traveller, you will find it convenient and inexpensive to ride a bus around the territory, with local buses both modern and air-conditioned. Taxis are also regarded a convenient option in this relatively small city. If you want to try something a little different, hire a tricycle, bicycle or car to see the sights.
